Here is a collection of stories for children freely available on the internet. 1. [For the Story Teller: Story Telling and Stories to Tell](https://archive.org/details/forstorytellers00bailgoog/page/n12/mode/2up): A collection of stories by [[Carolyn Sherwin Bailey]] published in 1920. Bailey has written and adapted stories for children and is a good author. 2. [The Panchatantra](https://archive.org/details/gtu_A32400004091363B) by Arthur W. Ryder. Excellent translation to English from Sanskrit. We are editing this work now that it is a hundred years old a few words and expressions are a bit difficult to grasp. You can read them [[Panchatantra by AW Ryder Edited|here]]. 3. [Silesian Folktales(The book of Rubezahl)](https://dn790008.ca.archive.org/0/items/silesianfolktale00leej/silesianfolktale00leej.pdf): These are folktales from Poland and Czech. Quality has not been evaluated. But [one Rubezahl story we read](https://germangirlinamerica.com/the-tale-of-kunigunde-von-kynast/) was very nice. 4. [International Children's Digital Library by University of Maryland](http://www.childrenslibrary.org). Good collection of stories. Format is a bit clumsy. 5. [ US Library of Congress Collection of Classic Children's Stories](https://www.loc.gov/free-to-use/classic-childrens-books/): Not many books, but a decent collection. Format can be complicated. 6.
